Beginner's Intensive Glass Bead Making Classes
|
Oakland

Studio One (510 597 5027). Topics covered will include basic science, history, and safety of glass bead making, with lots of demonstrations and hands-on times for students to make their own lampwork beads. Demos will cover pulling stringers, making latticinoes, basic bead formation, appling dots, lines, plunging, casing, making flat and cylindrical beads, and, if we have time, making pinwheel designs as well. Basic design and color theory discussed, too.
Registration is through the City of Oakland's Studio One. Class will be held in Oakland, from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm.
